The (512) Story
(512) is the area code around Austin, Texas, and it speaks to who we serve and where we’re from. Built to supply central Texans with a locally brewed beer in the American style developed from English, Belgian and occasionally German beer styles, (512) beers offer familiarity with unique twists for some truly authentic beer.
Our People are the Difference
The crew at (512) is just as unique. We’re mostly central Texans and all craft beer fans with a passion for simple processing and super high-quality ingredients, with minimal additives or process aids. We’re creative, patient, careful, and fairly traditional in our approach, which yields mature beer that we think is the best around. From our classic IPA to the iconic Pecan Porter and all kinds of exciting barrel-aged and seasonal brews in between, every beer we make starts with a desire for us to consume it!
